Brasserie Lodge Visdonk
The starting point of the route is Brasserie Lodge Visdonk. Here you can have a cup of coffee before departure to prepare for the bike ride, have a nice lunch on the attractive veranda or have an extensive dinner on your return and talk about the day in front of the fireplace. Children can romp around in the nature around the brasserie. An attractive place to start your day well or end it festively.

Dismounts
One of the sights on the route is Molen Aerden in picturesque Nispen. This belt mill was built in 1850. The mill was actually supposed to be built twenty years earlier, but construction was delayed due to the Belgian uprising. The Wallsteijn estate from 1800 is also worth a visit. The estate has an orangery, a garden house, a coach house, a central farmhouse and a barn. From the viewing dome on the estate you have a beautiful view of the surrounding fields.

Maria Toevlucht Abbey
This Trappist abbey was founded in 1899 by some monks from Koningshoeven Abbey in Tilburg. The abbey was intended as a refuge if the French Trappists were expelled. This is also where the name of the abbey comes from, although it never actually became a refuge. On June 22, 1909, the brothers returned to their mother abbey in Tilburg. A number of young monks joined in the 1990s, after a period of few new recruits. This allowed the abbey to continue to exist. Today the community has 25 monks. At the abbey you will also find a brewery where the Trappist beer'Zundert\\\' is brewed.
