A walk along the Geul

South Limburg is a beautiful area to explore on foot. And especially to wander along the river Geul. The Geul winds its way through a beautiful landscape. Flowering grasslands along the banks, forest flora in the hillside forests and the winding Geul that runs through it; it makes walking a real experience. The Geuldal never gets boring! Moreover, you can encounter many animals and plants here that you will not find anywhere else in the Netherlands. One thing is certain: you can enjoy walking here. The starting point of this route is at't Winkelke in cozy Itteren. You can go here for a snack and a drink after you have walked. This way you can enjoy the nice walk you just finished!
