Long pancake route the Maashorst

Your walking route starts with a cup of coffee on the terrace of De Pannekoekenbakker Zeeland. There is also a nice playground here. From here you can walk straight into the De Maashorst nature reserve. The core of the area is formed by heathland. Forest areas such as Slabroek are in line with this. You will also find an open agricultural area, without main paved roads. In the future it is hoped that the area will be completely fenced off. It can then serve as a habitat for animal species such as red deer, mouflon and wild boar. Zeeland is not only a province, it is also a charming village near Uden in Brabant. You walk past De Dageraad, a beautiful flour mill from 1832. At junction 58 you see the monumental village church from the mid-nineteenth century.
