Description

Your walking route starts at Old Inn with a nice cup of coffee. From here you will discover part of the route of the German Line, the former railway line between Boxtel and Wesel, Germany. The former railway line soon leads you to the Zeven Morgenziep fen, where special plant species occur. In the Heijense Bossen you will find a lot of variety with all deciduous and coniferous trees. The last part takes you past the Genneperheide, a gently sloping nature reserve that is located on an old river dune of the Maas. The winding path takes you through a coniferous forest that was planted for mining around 1930. It is wonderfully quiet here to walk among the fragrant Scots pines. Then you pick up the German Line again, back to square one.
