Walking tour on the German Line

Your walking route starts at Old Inn with a nice cup of coffee. From here you will discover part of the route of the German Line, the former railway line between Boxtel and the German Wesel. The former railway line quickly leads you to the Zeven Morgenziep fen, where special plant species grow. In the Heijense Bossen you will find a lot of variety with all the deciduous and coniferous trees. The last part leads you along the Genneperheide, a slightly undulating nature reserve that is located on an old river dune of the Maas. The winding path takes you through a coniferous forest that was planted around 1930 for mining. It is wonderfully quiet walking here between the fragrant Scots pines. Then you pick up the German Line again, back to the start.
