There's nothing better than cycling in Zeeland. The salty sea air blowing through your hair, the scent of the beach, and the view over the dunes and the sea. And we haven't even mentioned the beautiful inland area with its expansive vistas. The starting point of this cycling route is at the port of Vlissingen. This port city on the Western Scheldt boasts the longest sea promenade in the Netherlands, where you can almost reach out and touch the passing ships. Along the coast, you'll cycle to Zoutelande, where you can stop and relax at Brasserie de Meerpaal. This holiday park is uniquely situated: on the edge of the village, surrounded by forests, and at the foot of the dunes. Then, you'll cycle back to Vlissingen via Grijpskerke and Middelburg.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
