Around Nederweert you drive through a landscape of forests, fens and farmland. You will also pass De Groote Peel National Park. In short, a tour full of variety and natural beauty!

Nederweert
From IJsboerderij Gommers you drive along the leafy banks of the canal to Nederweert. In the cozy village center you can still see some beautiful old buildings.  You can admire the Sint-Lambertus church in the village with its octagonal spire. Further on you will pass the visitor center of the Groote Peel. From here you can walk a bit into the national park.

Sarsven
Around Heibloem you drive a long way through the almost contiguous forests. It is wonderfully quiet cycling here, ideal for a day of relaxation. In the hamlet of Nijken you pass the Sint-Petrus, a beautiful corn mill from 1901. Further on you pass through nature reserve Het Sarsven & De Banen. Here you will find a succession of willow thickets, dry forests, untouched grasslands and reed beds along the fen. At IJsboerderij Gommers you can enjoy refreshments on the terrace.

Ice farm Gommers has been around since 1999! There are many types of ice cream on the menu, there is something for everyone. You can eat your ice cream inside, but when the weather is nice you would of course prefer to sit on the cozy terrace. The ice demonstration with ice tasting session is highly recommended. The corn maze is opened every year in mid-July, a great experience. In this region it is wonderful to cycle and walk through beautiful nature reserves. There is also a family-friendly walk from the farm. You can also visit the nearby Eynderhoof open air museum.

The St. Petrus corn mill was built in 1901 in Roggel. The mill is named after Roggel's patron. Today, milling is still done on a voluntary basis.
