Province of Belgian Luxembourg: From Houffalize to Bastogne - The RAVeL Lines 613 and 163

As soon as you leave Houffalize, this historic route will lead you to the historic heart of the "Battle of the Bulge". You can soak up history in the deep valleys in the area. However, this region is also known for cycling and Houffalize is the beating heart of the mountain bike. Thanks to the RAVeL you can descend safely and quietly to the green lung of the Belgian Ardennes without slopes. You will not only cross dense forests with deciduous and coniferous trees, but also wide landscapes with farms. Then you arrive in Bourcy, a cozy village 500 meters above sea level. From there you cycle further to reach Bastogne. In Bastogne you can enjoy fun
shops, impressive museums and monuments and of course ending with specialties of the region and local wine.
