You start at the river Ourthe in Barvaux and then cycle through the region of La Calestienne and its villages rich in architectural and natural heritage. Via small country roads you reach the village of Wéris with unusual and surprising megaliths. You cycle back to Barvaux via small wooded paths and past three menhirs of Oppagne. Did you know? Wéris is one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia (Un des Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie). Lovers of beautiful old stones with a rural character will find what they are looking for here. The village is known worldwide thanks to its megalithic site but also because of its legendary stones with sometimes mysterious names Pas de Bayard, Lit du Diable... Our top tip: Durbuy is 5 km from Barvaux. Durbuy is often referred to as"the smallest city in the world\\\". Stroll through the cobbled streets and discover the thousand and one facets of the city. From the Belvédère, located on the edge of the cliff, you get a beautiful panoramic view. In the many restaurants there you can taste regional products.
