Your route starts at the cozy Herberg"In den Bockenreyder\\\", where you seem to go back in time. First you drive through the De Utrecht estate, purchased as an investment in 1898 by the life insurance company De Utrecht. Then enjoy a pancake at De Pannekoekenbakker Baarle-Nassau. In Baarle the border runs criss-cross through roads, houses and gardens. In the built-up area, the enclave boundaries have been made visible everywhere with special paving stones. The national tricolor on the house number signs also indicates whether you are in Belgium or the Netherlands. At Landgoed Gorp en Roovert you will discover a monumental hunting lodge in the hamlet of Gorp. You cycle back via the beautiful Hilvarenbeek with its historic Vrijthof. Here you will see stately mansions and the late Gothic St. Peter's Band Church from the fifteenth century.
