Your route starts at the cozy Herberg"In den Bockenreyder\\\", where you seem to go back in time. First you drive over Landgoed De Utrecht, bought as an investment by life insurance company De Utrecht in 1898. In Baarle the border runs criss-cross through roads, houses and gardens. In the built-up area the enclave borders are made visible everywhere with special pavement tiles. The national tricolor on the house number signs also indicates whether you are in Belgium or the Netherlands. Take a break at the Nieuwkerkse Hoeve! On Landgoed Gorp en Roovert you will discover a monumental hunting lodge in the hamlet of Gorp. You cycle back via the beautiful Hilvarenbeek with its historic Vrijthof. Here you will see stately mansions and the late Gothic Sint-Petrus\\\'-Bandenkerk from the fifteenth century.
