Tour of Vlissingen, Middelburg and Veere

This cycling tour starts with a beautiful stretch on the boulevard of Vlissingen. At the Vissershaven you can stop at the muZEEum, a museum about the sea in beautiful historic buildings. You drive straight through the dunes to the nice Dishoek. A little later you turn towards the villages of Biggekerke and Grijspkerke. You will visit the seaside resort of Oostkapelle before turning to the Veerse Meer. After a tour around the center of the nice old Veere, you can stop at Theetuin and Boerderijcamping Plantlust to enjoy the peace and quiet (and apple pie!). You cycle back straight through Middelburg, past the Abbey and the Town Hall. In Oost-Souburg you will discover the best preserved Carolingian burg in Zeeland: the earthen walls were intended to protect the citizens against Vikings.
