Tour of Vlissingen, Middelburg and Veere

This bike tour begins with a lovely stretch along the Vlissingen boulevard. At the fishing harbor, you can stop at the muZEEum, a museum about the sea housed in beautiful historic buildings. You'll cycle straight through the dunes to the charming town of Dishoek. A little later, you'll veer off towards the villages of Biggekerke and Grijspkerke. You'll also stop at the seaside resort of Oostkapelle before heading towards the Veerse Meer lake. After a tour around the center of charming old Veere, you can stop at the Theetuin and Boerderijcamping Plantlust to enjoy the peace and quiet (and apple pie!). You'll cycle back through Middelburg, past the Abbey and the Town Hall. In Oost-Souburg, you'll discover the best-preserved Carolingian castle in Zeeland: the earthen ramparts were meant to protect the citizens from Viking raids.
