Cycling through the quiet Maasduinen

Dunes are not only located along the coast. Be surprised and cycle through the Limburg dunes in De Maasduinen National Park. Here you will see, among other things, the ruins of the Schanstoren, a fifteenth-century remnant of the former fortifications of Arcen. Arcen Castle is a country house whose origins date back to the twelfth century. From Arcen you drive onto the river dunes that lie on the right of the Maas bank. You cycle many kilometers through nature here. What a wonderful area! The majority of those forests, heaths and fens belong to De Maasduinen.
