Cycling through the quiet Maasduinen

Dunes aren't just found along the coast. Prepare to be surprised and cycle through the Limburg dunes in De Maasduinen National Park. Here you'll see, among other things, the ruins of the Schanstoren, a fifteenth-century remnant of Arcen's former fortifications. Arcen Castle is a country house with origins dating back to the twelfth century. From Arcen, you cycle up the river dunes that lie on the right bank of the Meuse. You'll cycle for many kilometers through nature. What a wonderful area! Most of these forests, heathlands, and fens belong to De Maasduinen.
