Around Lavoir, Burdinne and Fumal, you can enjoy the varied landscape of the 10,500 ha Natural Park of the Valleys of the Burdinale and the Mehaigne. Here you will find dry and marshy meadows, rocky outcrops, extensive fields and wooded slopes full of special flora and fauna. You will also find a lot of historical heritage in this area.

Château de Fallais
On this route you cycle through the old town of Couthuin, where many buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries. Marneffe is a village with beautiful 19th century farms. The Church of the Immaculate Conception is also very beautiful. The current three-aisled church with its tower integrated into the nave dates from 1846. There is also much more to see on this route. The Chateau de Fallais is an impressive low-lying fortress founded in the 13th century. In 1468, the last meeting took place here between the Prince-Bishop of Liège, Louis of Burgundy, Karel De Stout and King Louis XI before the Sack of Liège took place.

A museum full of bicycles
Of course, as a cycling enthusiast you should also take a look at the Musée vivant du Cycle de Huccorgne, the Cycling Museum. The remarkable collection of more than 100 bicycles has been manufactured in the period from 1830 to the present.
