Cycling route over the Utrechtse Heuvelrug

This route starts with a cup of coffee at the Wapen van Elst. You have beautiful mountain bike trails on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, which are maintained by volunteers. This route leads you through almost the entire National Park De Utrechtse Heuvelrug. This region is bursting with variety. Rolling heaths, old forests - and between the trees you catch a glimpse of beautiful country houses, such as the ancient Maarsbergen Castle. The National Park consists of several sub-areas. With this route you will discover Boswachterij Austerlitz, where you will see beautiful parks and luxurious country houses between the trees. You drive through a gently sloping landscape of heaths and old deciduous and coniferous forests. A wonderful area where you can relax almost automatically and leave the everyday hustle and bustle behind.
