Description
Your route starts at Theehuis and Farm Games De Eikenhorst. You can enjoy a varied landscape between Wijchen and Overasselt. First you drive around Berendonck, a recreational lake that was constructed in 1976. It is quiet here to cycle between the trees and farms. Further on you cross the Wijchens Ven: the remains of an ancient river arm. The Hatertse and Overasseltse Vennen is a gently sloping nature reserve. What a silence! You cross the Maas and have beautiful views along the floodplains. In the distance you can already see Grave, the beautiful old town enjoys a protected cityscape. On the other side of the river you pass the Maasmolen. At Het Grote Broertje you can enjoy a wonderful break while enjoying a snack and drink.
