Blankenberge, Bredene and Bruges

Blankenberge is one of the most important seaside resorts in West Flanders. The coast attracts thousands of tourists every year, and in summer, tourist trains operate, connecting Blankenberge station directly to Brussels via Bruges. It's wonderful to cycle the kilometers along the coastline, unwinding and enjoying the stunning sea views. But it's also fun to explore the interior and find your way to Bruges. Bruges is the capital and largest city of West Flanders, yet the charming town retains a small-scale character. Much of its atmosphere is exuded by the 430-hectare historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site as a medieval city. Charming houses, historic streets, and charming squares await you.
