Description
Get on your bike and get ready for a castle route from Boekel. The starting point of this cycle route is De Mouthoeve. The first castle you encounter is in Beek en Donk: Eijckenlust Castle. The oldest part that still exists is the gatehouse, which dates from 1500. Then you continue the route towards Sint-Oedenrode. Further on you will pass the place where Ten Houte stood until the nineteenth century: a castle of which only the farms remain. Via the south of Veghel in Brabant you cycle back towards Boekel. Once back at De Mouthoeve you can chat about the route and enjoy a nice snack and drink. A nice cycle route through nature and along historical places!
