Your cycle route starts at Hudson Zoetermeer, located in the beautiful Sara Lydia Hoeve in the Oosterheem district of Zoetermeer. After a cup of coffee on the terrace, you cycle to De Balij, a young and varied forest. This variation attracts different animals. Then you pass the Oude- or Hoge Polder (hull / remnant). It was built in 1861, but since 1918 all that remains of the mill is a sawn-off hull. Molen Tweemanspolder no. 4, further on, is a beautiful octagonal ground sailer from 1722. The mill drains the Tweemanspolder together with three other mills. The mill was completely restored in 2009. Close by is the Tweemanspolder no. 3, also an octagonal ground sailer, but this one is seventy years younger than number 4. This mill has also been restored.
