Tour Schoonebeek, Dalerveen and Emmen

Here you will explore beautiful nature reserves and villages. The Amsterdamsche Veld owes its name to the Amsterdam investors who once bought this area. In the past it was a much larger peat area and was part of the Bourtangermoeras, but nowadays the remainder belongs to the Bargerveen. In Schooneveld you will discover Landgoed Middendorp. It consists of a total of four houses. A large house already stood here in the fifteenth century, in the current building the cross vaults in the cellars are the visible witnesses of this'groote Huys\\\'. The white plastered facade on the Vliet is the most important side of the building complex. Next to the house is a small gas factory from 1867.
