Estate route Oldenzaal, Losser and De Lutte

Your route starts at Restaurant Klein Afrika. Around Oldenzaal you will find numerous country estates, beautiful areas to cycle through. This takes you through the Hulsbeek nature reserve, a former country estate where there are now recreational lakes. Beautiful avenues with deciduous trees, lovely meadows with hedgerows and fields full of herbs and wild flowers; southeast of Oldenzaal, through the grasslands of Boerskotten, you can cycle in all the peace and quiet you could wish for. Bell gentian and orchids wave among the grass, but heath and shrub heather also thrive here. During the bike tour you will also pass Museumsteenfabriek MWL, or Museum Steenfabriek De Werklust in Losser. All parts and elements for stone production are still present in and around the factory. You drive back through the heart of Oldenzaal, a former textile town.
