Tour of Zutphen, Almen and Eefde

A beautiful interplay of hedgerows, hedges, old farms, fields and streams, that is the De Graafschap National Landscape. There are estates and castles in the scenic landscape, which contribute to the authentic character. One of those estates is Het Enzerinck. A stately country house from 1836 is hidden among the nature of the estate. Tulip trees and magnolias protrude above the grass. Get off in Zutphen at Stadshotel & Proeflokaal't Oer! In Eefde, before you cycle back to the starting point of the cycle tour, you will pass the Boedelhof. This old farm, which is used as a home, dates from around 1750. The house is adorned by a high hipped roof with a weather vane. The oldest parts of the farm are easily recognizable by the smaller, irregular bricks.
