Tour Terneuzen, Sas van Gent and Philippine

This route takes you through Terneuzen and the polders of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The first meters you cycle along the boulevard, where you have a beautiful view of the Westerschelde. Then you cycle through the park that lies along the Otheensche Kreek. From the village of Spui you cycle on a car-free road to Schapenbout, further on you come through Sas van Gent. Here you see, among other things, the Walmolen, a former corn mill that stood on the former city bastion. You make a shortcut through the Meetjesland in Belgium, where you cycle along the Gezusterskreken. Finally, you cycle through the Braakmanpolder. This former sea arm has been a nature reserve since 1952 with a dammed creek, flower-rich meadows and deciduous forests. The route ends with a delicious meal on the terrace at Taste Churchill .
