Rural Leudal

This route takes you through the countryside, past characteristic villages and the special nature in the Leudal. The route goes via the junctions: 38-43-41-15-49-46-45-38 and is 31 km long. Along the way there are plenty of opportunities for a short stop for a snack and a drink, for example at Restaurant De Pannenkoek, Restaurant de Nimrod, Restaurant de Abdij and Boederijterras bie Sien. In the countryside you have a wide variety of agricultural companies, including Frank's farm with its goat farm. The Leudal also has plenty to offer in terms of culture. Think of the windmills, water mills, museums and castles that pass along the way. The Leudal nature reserve has unique prehistoric urn fields and unique stream valleys along meandering rivers. It is possible to combine the cycling route with an overnight stay, including at Kasteel Baexem, B&B Aan de Bergen Leudal, Buitengoed de Gaard, Hotel de Abdij, Hotel het Anker and Woonboerderij Peters. Bicycle rental is possible at Woonboerderij Peters, please book in advance (near junction 38).
