Cycling through De Maashorst

After you have loosened your legs, you drive a bit through the Herpse Bossen. You visit Berghem, after which you cycle back into the forest. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh air. You cycle through the countryside around Schaijk. You regularly pass a characteristic farm, and you also pass Molen De Onderneming, a former flour mill from 1888 that now serves as a home. Further on you drive into the woods of the extensive Maashorst nature park. After a while you cycle through Munnekens-Vinkel, a hamlet that was founded by hermits (munnekens) around the twelfth century. Just outside the village is Halley Observatory. On the edge of Geffen you pass De Vlijt, a flour mill from 1685. Via the Geffense Bosjes you drive back to Restaurant Clemens.
