Ice cream and blueberries route Limburg

This cycle route starts with a cup of coffee on the terrace of Blauwebessenland. In season you can pick your own berries here, great for on the road! From here you drive past small nature reserves, such as Paardekop. The route then takes you through fields, meadows and the transition area between the Schadijkse Bossen and the Castenrayse Vennen. There used to be extensive heaths here that have been soded to make manure. The large sand drifts that arose were curbed by Scots pines. A little further you can get off for an ice cream at IJssalon Clevers Tienray. Shortly after you have seen the nice Broekhuizen, it is time for a drink on a terrace at Blue Berrie Hill. Via the varied Schuitwater nature reserve, around a former Maasarm, you cycle to the end of the route. A route for gourmets!
