Your route starts at Duinhotel Breezand. Walcheren is like your great love: you never get tired of it. Along the edge of the Veerse Meer you will soon reach the first point of interest on your route: Veere. In this small but oh so beautiful town you can enjoy the unique atmosphere and coziness. Along the quay you can see the Campveerse Toren from 1500. Museum De Scottish Houses is housed in two sixteenth-century monuments. The Grote Kerk dates from 1348. The town hall with its beautiful facade dates from the fifteenth century and houses a museum. In the polders it is nice and quiet cycling between the meadows and fields. You pass through characteristic villages such as Oostkapelle. You then cycle through the beautiful woods of the Manteling.

Vrouwenpolder is wedged between the Veerse Meer, the North Sea and the beautiful hinterland of Walcheren. Sun, sea, beach, walking, sports and eating mussels with the sound of the sea in the background. A nice base for cycling through the dunes, the Veerse Meer and nice towns such as Veere and Domburg!

Molen De Koe was built in 1909 as a replacement for an earlier mill from 1736 that had burned down. The mill is painted white according to the old Zeeland tradition.
