Tour of Bergen, Alkmaar and Egmond

You'll cycle straight to Alkmaar, where you'll cycle through charming narrow streets, through charming courtyards, and along beautiful canals. You'll also discover the Juliana Monastery. Built in 1930, it housed the Sisters of Charity of Juliana de Falconieri. This scenic route through North Holland will naturally also take you past the Varnebroerker windmill, a beautiful small, hollow-bottom watermill in a meadow. Piet's Mill, or De Groot Mill, is an octagonal smock mill. Within the city limits of Alkmaar stands the Geestmolen, a ground-sail mill built in 1556. You'll cycle through the bulb fields around Egmond aan den Hoef, as well as along the boulevard of Egmond aan Zee.
