Your cycling route starts at Gasterij Natural Smeerling. From here you cycle through the Groningen landscape, enjoying the spaciousness. Then you arrive at the Wedderborg in Wedde. This deposit is also called Huis te Wedde, because it is not actually a real deposit or fortified home. The House in Wedde was previously used as a defense structure. The Lords of Westerwolde had their seat here for centuries. There are also two beautiful windmills in Wedde. One of these is the Wedderveer, a mill built in 1938 that was used for sawing wood. The other mill in the village is the Weddermarke. This ground sailor is a successor to the original Weddermarke, which burned down in 1898. You will also pass Veldkamp\\\'s Meul\\\'n, a tower mill dating from 1855.
