Pancake house Den Strooper

Here you can recover from the day while enjoying a delicious pancake. Then you can cycle the last part of the route full of new energy.
Rozendael Castle
This castle came into the possession of the Dukes of Gelre around 1300. The castle was very popular due to its beautiful location on the edge of the Veluwe. The medieval fortress consisted of a main castle with an outer bailey and a massive keep with walls up to four meters thick. Only the keep is still standing today, although it was originally twice as high. In 1722, a large square house was built against the tower and a side wing was added in the nineteenth century. The coach house also dates from that time. The shell gallery, the deceivers and the tea dome were designed by the famous French landscape architect Daniël Marot.
