Discover Ouddorp and the tranquility of Goeree-Overflakkee

This route introduces you to the picturesque Ouddorp. Around this town you cycle through the varied and natural landscape of Goeree-Overflakkee. The route starts at't Wapen van Stellendam. Then you set course for Melissant, after which you cycle a bit along the edge of the Slikken van Flakkee. From the path you look out over this unspoilt nature reserve with its mudflats, shrubs and grasslands. Further on, on the right is the Schans, a former military fort from 1665. You can take a trip to Ouddorp. Here you can view some beautiful old buildings. What a nice atmosphere! You pass the RTM Remise visitor center. Finally, you drive along the dunes on the north side of the island. It's so peaceful cycling here. Take another look at Tij Bird Observatory!
