Cycle through the beautiful forests of Oisterwijk and explore the Kampina nature reserve in North Brabant, take time for a terrace in Oisterwijk and enjoy the Brabant burgundy atmosphere. You first cycle through the Kampina nature reserve. This was still a large sand drift around 1400, but over time the area grew dense with heathland. The extensive heathland in the heart of the area can be beautifully explored by bike thanks to a cycle path that runs right along it. You will also pass the Kolkven, the largest fen in the Oisterwijk forests. This fen was not carved out by polar winds, but was carved out by an old meltwater river, which makes it very deep. Stop off at De Rozephoeve with the lovely Landwinkel along the way!
