Cycling through De Maashorst in style

A large part of this route takes you through the Maashorst Landscape Park, one of the largest nature reserves in Brabant. You will cycle through fragrant coniferous forests, but also through authentic farmland with fields, wet grasslands and hedgerows. What immediately stands out here: the peace and quiet! Ideal for recharging the battery. You will pass through a number of small villages where you can still see authentic long-façade farms. Just past Heesch you can get off for a pit stop on the terrace of Restaurant Clemens. Enjoy the Burgundian cosiness at your leisure, before you cycle back into the Herpse Bossen. You cycle through the beautiful village centre of Schaijk on a leafy road. Here you will see, among other things, the Antonius Abtkerk from 1902. The last few kilometres you cycle through the Maashorst again.
