In the upper part of North Holland you will find a beautiful flat landscape between and behind wide sand ridges and extensive dunes. Green meadows, fields and bulb fields alternate here. The route starts at Automuseum Schagen, where you can admire all kinds of old cars from Europe and America, but there are also typical Dutch Dafjes. From Schagen you cycle to Anna Paulowna. Along the way you will pass the Leonide mill. This mill looks like a traditional mill, but it has never had a grinding function. From Anna Paulowna you cycle towards Julianadorp and the Amstelmeer. Originally this lake formed a transition between the Wadden Sea and the Zuiderzee.
From April 1 to October 31, Automuseum Schagen is open every Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. In July and August also on Thursdays.
