Cycling in Bladel, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route 115977
Provided by: route.nl
Your cycling route starts at the cozy Camping De Couwenberg. The Kempen stretches out in Flanders and the southern part of the Netherlands. The area has a dry, sandy soil where until the mid-twentieth century heather, oak forest, fens and peatlands were untouched. You can still find these landscape elements here, but on a smaller scale. You cycle across the Landschotse Heide to Stelling Mill St. Jan, surrounded by beautiful farms, extensive meadows and arable land and forests. Halfway along the cycle route you will pass Gasterij Dorpsgenot in the pleasant village of Oerle, where you can rest and enjoy a snack and a drink. If you want to charge your bike, you can do that here too! Via the Buikheide and the Landschotse Heide you cycle back to the starting point of the route.
