Your route takes you through Landgoed De Utrecht and the Regte Heide. In Hilvarenbeek you can see the historic Vrijthof, which enjoys a protected village view. Stately mansions and the late Gothic St. Peter's Church from the fifteenth century give it a special atmosphere. From the forests of the Regte Heide you cycle through the Nieuwkerk estate with its long lanes. Further on you pass through the Belgian town of Poppel, a nice village with a striking town hall. The last part of the route takes you through the vast forests of De Utrecht. This estate was developed in 1898 as an investment by the life insurance company De Utrecht.
