Hunting lodge St. Hubertus
The route takes you past Jachtslot St. Hubertus, among other places. Hendrik Petrus Berlage is the architect who designed and built the castle in 1914. Berlage also designed the interior of the house, which ensures a beautifully coherent whole. Get off your bike to admire the hunting lodge or take a tour of the house. The house is built in the English country house style complete with smoking rooms, a billiard room and much more.

Gasterij't Hilletje
Just outside the village of Harskamp you will pass the monumental mill Lana Mariana. This stone belt mill was built in 1739. The mill was heavily damaged in World War II when the hood with blades was blown off. Today the mill is used as a residence. You start and end the route at Gasterij't Hilletje, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. You can also spend the night here comfortably.

The Battle of Otterlo
On this route you will come across a listening point that is part of the Liberation Route. This route takes you past various places in the Netherlands where experiences and stories from the Second World War are told. Here you will find L56: The Battle of Otterlo. Here you can hear the story of the fierce battle that the Allies fought for our freedom here. This was the last major battle in the Netherlands. Otterlo was actually already liberated when these battles broke out.
