From Waalre you first drive to Aalst. Here you pass the Aalstermolen, a flour mill from 1904. A little later you drive through three contiguous nature areas: the Groote Heide, Landgoed Valkenhorst and the Leenderbos. You mainly cycle here between coniferous trees, such as Scots pines that were once intended to supply wood for the Limburg mines. There are also some rough grasslands and heaths on your route. From the saddle you have a beautiful view of this. On the edge of Valkenswaard you pass two watermills that are located on the Dommel. First you will pass the ancient Venbergse Molen, further on is the Dommelse Molen. Just outside Valkenswaard you will see the Volmolen, which is also located on the Dommel. Your bike tour ends with a delicious lunch at Brasserie Meester Keeman.
