Between St. Willebrord and Zundert you will find a beautiful nature reserve full of wetlands and fens. This route takes you through Pannenhoef and the surrounding green areas. In addition to all that peace and space, you will also find fun in Sprundel and in Rucphen during this trip. What more can you wish for?
Historical monuments
The start and end point of this route is on the edge of Pannenhoef. From here you set course towards Rucphen. After just over 3 kilometers you cycle past the country house De Moeren. This stately mansion was built in 1544 and the estate on which it is located inspired Vincent van Gogh, among others. He made his first drawings here. The nearby Maria Toevlucht Abbey is also worth a visit. A community of monks has lived in this abbey since 1899. At the time of the French Revolution, this monastery was a refuge for monks and that is where the name of the abbey comes from.
