Description
This route introduces you to the green side of Eindhoven. You drive for a long time in the Dommel valley. You will soon see the Genneper Watermill, a beautiful building that originally dates from the sixteenth century. The route takes you further through the old center of Eindhoven. From the eastern edge of the city you will soon have a beautiful view of the grasslands and swamp forests along the Dommel. You cross the Wilhelmina Canal, after which you can enjoy something to eat in Son at Hotel & Restaurant La Sonnerie. Then you cycle back into the Dommeldal and pass three more centuries-old mills. In Geldrop you pass Geldrop Castle, after which you cycle back to your starting point via the Groote Heide and Aalst.
