Description
This route takes you through the'Heuvelland\\\', the rolling landscape in South Limburg. A large part of this area is not yet urbanized and on the tops of the hills you have a nice view over the landscape. You cycle through small church villages such as Urmond and Born and further along the Maas and the Juliana Canal.
Tasting Limburg wine
At the start of the route you cycle from Grevenbicht to Born. A little further on you will find Vineyard Grashoek. Enjoy the delicious sweet smell and peaceful sight of this vineyard. Several grape varieties are grown on this 950 square meter vineyard: triomph d\\\'Alsace, rondo and regent. Red and white wine is distilled from this. A visit to the vineyard is possible by appointment. Take a tour here and taste the delicious wines that are made here. Then you will experience for yourself that you really do not have to go abroad for tasty wine.
Eatery Aurora
You then cycle on to Urmond and back to Grevenbicht. The end point of this route is at Eetcafé Aurora. Here you can settle down for a cup of coffee with a large piece of Limburg pie, but you will also find plenty of goodies on the menu for lunch or dinner. From here you can also follow route 642862.

On the way from Urmond to Grevenbicht you cycle along the Maas and the Juliana Canal. Many ships pass by here that transport their cargo from Belgium to the Netherlands and back, so there is plenty to see here. Pedal through and enjoy the sight of the briskly flowing water.
