Tour of Valkenswaard, Budel and Leende

Your route starts at Wandelpark. From here you cycle a nice round through Boswachterij Leenderbos and the nice places in the area. In Budel you get to know the famous Teuten, traders who became rich abroad, and their famous houses. These are 17th century houses characterized by inward and outward curved gables of the Gelderland type. The prominent Schepenhuis is a beautiful town hall from 1772. The ground floor of the building originally served as a covered market for yarns and butter. At Valkenswaard you will be surprised by the beautiful nature of the Leenderbos. In Valkenswaard itself you will find several beautiful churches such as the Sint-Nicolaaskerk. The historic hamlet of Leenderstrijp is also worth it, it has a beautiful authentic village view with the typical Brabant long-façade farms.
