Tour of Nuenen, Mierlo and Helmond

From VVV Helmond you can take a beautiful bike ride through the Brabant countryside. The first attraction is Helmond Castle: a medieval moated castle. Dismount to enjoy the photogenic scene before driving to De Warande City Park. Just before Aarle-Rixtel you pass Croy Castle, which originally dates from the fifteenth century. You drive along the Wilhelmina Canal for a while, after which you turn to the village of Gerwen. In the Papenvoortse Heide you cycle through the fragrant conifers to Nuenen. Here you can enjoy a cozy terrace at Comigo Lunchroom & Restaurant, after which you can drive to Mierlo at your leisure. In the Dorpsstraat you will pass the old town hall from 1806 and a flour mill. You cycle back to the heart of Helmond via the Bakelse Bos.
