Lingeroute

The route starts at the Carolinge Bicycle and Foot Ferry. This ferry also features a tearoom with a small menu and a terrace where you can relax and enjoy a delicious meal. You'll cycle through the expansive polders to the picturesque heart of Leerdam. KunstFort Asperen is an impressive historical monument on the Linge River. In Acquoy, you'll pass a slightly tilted fifteenth-century church tower. After picturesque Beesd, you'll arrive at the Mariënwaerdt Estate with its many historic buildings. Wow! Enjoy a delicious meal at Eetcafé Uw Chef Tricht, after which you'll cross the Linge River at Geldermalsen. From the dike, you'll enjoy miles of views over the babbling river. You'll pass through some beautiful villages, including the Noordenhoek Estate and the De Vlinder windmill.
