Cycling through the Schoorlse Dunes

You start this route in Groet at Restaurant De Bokkesprong at Hans and Stacey. The restaurant is located in an authentic farmhouse that has been completely renovated. You can come here for a nice lunch, dinner or a cup of coffee. From here you will explore the Schoorlse Duinen. The extensive dune area of Schoorl is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Nowhere are the dunes wider or higher! The sand in the Schoorlse Duinen is very low in lime, which means that heather can grow. In some places the sand may drift. New dunes and potholes are created spontaneously. The dune'walks\\\' as it were. Before you know it you are back at the end point, but first you pass two Dutch windmills: the Damlandermolen and the Bosmolen.
