Cycling through the Veluwe

Hotel Restaurant De Loenermark is located on the edge of Loenen. From here you start this route of about 55 kilometers across the beautiful Veluwe. You cycle through extensive deciduous and coniferous forests via Hoenderloo to Beekbergen. Get off here at the Oude Kerk. The oldest parts date from the eleventh century! The grave of one of the first Veluwe papermakers, Marten Orges, can be found in the church. The Beekbergen VSM station is located in the adjacent village of Lieren. In summer, this steam train from Apeldoorn to Dieren is accessible to tourists. Finally you arrive in Eerbeek. The village attracts tourists because of its wooded area. You cycle back to the hotel in Loenen via the Veluwezoom. Time for a nice drink, snack or ice cream on the cozy terrace!
