Cycling through the Veluwe

On the outskirts of Loenen lies Hotel Restaurant De Loenermark. From here, you begin this approximately 55-kilometer route through the beautiful Veluwe region. Cycle through vast deciduous and coniferous forests via Hoenderloo to Beekbergen. Stop at the Old Church. The oldest parts date back to the eleventh century! Inside the church, you'll find the grave of one of the Veluwe's first papermakers, Marten Orges. In the neighboring village of Lieren, you'll find the Beekbergen VSM station. In the summer, this steam train from Apeldoorn to Dieren is open to tourists. Finally, you'll arrive in Eerbeek, a village that attracts tourists thanks to its wooded surroundings. Cycle back to the hotel in Loenen via the Veluwezoom. Time for a delicious drink, snack, or ice cream on the pleasant terrace!
