Tour of Sint-Oedenrode and Schijndel

This route takes you through the area around Sint-Oedenrode and Schijndel. The landscape here is a mix of meadows and fields. You'll also cycle through the Wijboschbroek. In this humid nature reserve, time seems to have stood still. You'll still see the poplar landscape that was so characteristic of this area from the eighteenth to the twentieth century. Just before junction 67, you'll pass through Eerschot. Here you'll see, among other things, the Knoptorenkerk (Chocolate Tower Church). In Sint-Oedenrode, you'll cross the Dommel River and then cycle through Kienehoef Park. Here you can make a pit stop at De Helden van Kien (The Heroes of Kien). In Schijndel, you'll pass several landmarks, such as the Catharina, a grain mill dating from 1836. The route ends with a drink on the terrace at Naast Lunch & Eetcafé.
