Woensdrecht, North Brabant, The Netherlands
Cycling route: 114730
Provided by: route.nl
The starting point of this route is Hoogerheide. It owes its name to the fact that it is located on the Brabantse Wal. The Brabant Wall is a sandy plateau. It extends to the Belgian border. You will be treated to widely varying landscapes while cycling. The most striking feature of the landscape of the Brabantse Wal is the steep edge: an abrupt transition from the higher sandy soils to the lower sea clay polders. This steep edge meanders from Ossendrecht past Hoogerheide, Woensdrecht, Bergen op Zoom and Halsteren to Steenbergen. Rolling landscapes suddenly rise near Woensdrecht and gradually become a polder area. Towards the end of the route you cycle past Het Radthuys, an authentic bistro with a cozy, homely atmosphere. Be surprised and enjoy the tasty snacks.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
