Description
The Huis ter Heide estate boasts a frog pond with yellow iris, floating pondweed, water sorrel, and arrowhead. The house was originally intended as a hunting lodge. Part of this route takes you through the Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park. This nature reserve is unique because the drifting sand here can still drift freely. This is something you won't find on such a large scale anywhere else in Europe.
