Via Vinkeveen you can take a beautiful bike ride through a typically Dutch landscape. This route takes you through the Ronde Venen: a region with old towns, plenty of water and beautiful old towns. In Vinkeveen and Demmerik you see old buildings and farms that are often only accessible via a bridge over a wide ditch. At Wilnis you pass the Veenmolen, a flour mill from 1823. You can enjoy beautiful views from the path along the meandering Kromme Mijdrecht. The surrounding polder has slowly subsided due to subsidence. De Hoef is a pleasant town where the monumental Pondskoekersluis from the second half of the nineteenth century is located. Here you can also admire the Anthony of Padua, a beautiful church from 1921.
