Description

You first cross the Langenboomse Bossen on a cycle path. Beautiful orchids grow in some open spaces during the season. In the valley of the Lage Raam you drive between meadows, fields and forest plots past Tongelaer Castle. At Bruggen you drive a bit along the Peel-Raamstelling, where you will see a few more casemates. In the village of Mill you will pass the Sint Willibrordus Church from 1881. Aldendriel Castle dates from 1477. The building is not publicly accessible, but you can enjoy the natural beauty around the castle. Further on is the Korenbloem, a corn mill from 1857. In the area you cycle through some beautiful hamlets. Stop off for a cup of coffee or lunch at Hotel Brasserie Verhoeven in Uden, a beautiful town with a special location on the Peelrand Fault.
