Tour of Raalte and Sallandse Heuvelrug

Your route starts at Jorink Bakery - Lunchroom - Ice Cream Parlor. From here, you'll cycle to Marienheem, after which you'll cycle for a few kilometers through the countryside. You'll cycle mainly on quiet roads, allowing you to fully enjoy nature. Just past Haarle, you'll enter Sallandse Heuvelrug National Park. Here, you can visit the Sprengenberg sheepfold, a beautiful spot. Just past junction 5, you'll see the white Palthe Tower from 1910 on your left. This was the holiday home and hunting lodge for the Palthe family, owners of the textile factory of the same name. Via Dijkerhoek, you'll cycle to Lettele. Time for a drink on a terrace at Restaurant BRAS-KOER. Along meadows and fields, you'll cycle north to Heeten. Here you'll pass the cozy Brasserie Dertien. You'll cycle along the Overijssels Kanaal back to Raalte.
